Our purpose surrounds supporting Indigenous students and scholars to succeed. As part of that success we have compiled a list of high-profile scholarships for Indigenous undergraduate and graduate students in STEM. Many of our members have been or currently are funded by these awards.

Scholarship Opportunities

American Indian College Fund

The American Indian College Fund provides scholarships to American Indian and Alaska Native college students seeking undergraduate and graduate degrees at tribal colleges, nonprofit, and accredited schools

Native Forward Scholars Fund

Native Forward Scholars Fund provides a breadth of varying awards to tribal applicants based on both merit and need. Please review the criteria to ensure eligibility.

AISES Scholarships

AISES scholarships help students acquire skills and training that will help them meet the unique STEM needs of our communities. To apply, you must be an AISES member, but membership is free for college students.

Catching the Dream Scholarship

Catching the Dream provides scholarships for students who demonstrate academic success and the desire to return to their communities and help others realize their dreams.

Cobell Scholarship

Both merit-based and need-based, the competitive Cobell Scholarship is annual, non-renewable, and available to post-secondary students who are enrolled members of a US Federally-Recognized Tribe in full-time study.

Tribal Agricultural Fellowship

The Tribal Agriculture Fellowship is your opportunity to be a part of a fellowship devoted to sharing the Indigenous perspective and making a difference in Tribal agriculture.
